and helpful information for the purpose of fastening specifications.
Track or Clip to Steel Beam Part Number 1503K Fasteners
used shall have a 0.300 head with a 0.145 knurled shank diameter
and a length of 1/2-inches. Part
Number SP58TH Fasteners used shall
be designated power point type with a 0.150 nominal shank diameter
and a length of 5/8-inches.
Exterior Sheathing
to Metal Stud Part Number
GF112 Fasteners designated “GYPFAST” and have a
helical knurled shank
with a 1-1/2" Length
Interior Partition Track to
Concrete Part Number FPP034B Fasteners used shall be designated “TrakFast”
type with a 0.109 nominal shank diameter and 3/4-inch embedment
depth.
Plywood to Metal Framing or
Truss Part Number PLY138 Fasteners used shall have a 0.100 nominal
shank diameter with helical knurl and a length of 1-3/8-inches.
Exterior Perimeter Track to
Concrete Part Number 1510SD Fasteners used shall have a 0.145 nominal
shank diameter and a length
of 1-1/4 inches. The fastener shall
have a pre-assembled 7/8-inch washer.
Part
Number SP114 Fasteners used shall
be designated PowerPointt type with a 0.150/.180 stepped shank
and a length of 1-1/4 inches.
